Curb Scholars Alumni Network

At the end of each academic year we say goodbye to our graduating Curb Scholars.  Since 2013, these alumni have been applying everything learned during their time at Curb and Vanderbilt to their writing, film-making, IT development, business start-up, science, music careers, and so much more.  In short, they continue to bring their creativity and entrepreneurial spirits to everything they do.

Since 2021, Curb Scholar Alumni Barton Christmas, Jonathan Tari, Miranda Cross, Rachel Anand, and Serena Deutch have been working to create an alumni network.  This network allows past and present scholars to remain connected to each other and provide exciting opportunities to interact with each other going forward.

The first Curb Scholar Alumni Newsletter was released in 2020 as a way of keeping alumni updated about current scholar programming. There are plans to feature past alumni on this page and in the newsletter, have alumni visit Curb to share their relevant experiences with our scholars, visit alumni at their places of work during regional field trips, and more.

Are you a Curb Scholar Alumni interested in becoming part of the network? Would you be willing to serve as a mentor to another Curb Scholar? Would you like to serve on an ad hoc alumni committee to plan alumni-scholar events? We would love to have your participation in whatever capacity you chose as we continue to grow the program for Curb Scholars past and present.

Contact Curb Director Leah Lowe with any alumni network questions.
