Anoushka’s passion for service arises from her belief that building communities and democratizing access to resources can alleviate opportunity disparities. She believes that creating opportunity and empowering community members is the most effective path to long-lasting societal change.

As an Ingram Scholar, Anoushka’s service has been focused on alleviating disparities and inequities through knowledge and resource generation. At the Nashville Entrepreneur Center, she created a filterable database of technology startups based in Nashville and assisted with the operations of ‘Renew Nashville’ – a pandemic recovery program for small businesses. In the sphere of education, she worked with PENCIL to develop and scale a curriculum supplementing educational series for K-12 students in Metro Nashville Public Schools.

In the summer of 2022, Anoushka worked with Unshackled Ventures to research the state of immigrant entrepreneurs and highlight the tremendous impact immigrant founders have on the economic, social, and start-up ecosystems of the United States despite the various challenges they face.

Anoushka is grateful to the Ingram Scholars program for the unique opportunity to explore her service interests in areas like entrepreneurship, financial access, and education. She hopes to continue using her education and experiences to empower communities and alleviate disparities.
