Shreya Rekapalli

Shreya has always had an entrepreneurial spirit and her service endeavors have aligned closely with that interest. She is involved with organizations both on and off Vanderbilt University’s campus. Recently she worked closely with Women Advancing Microfinance, a nonprofit organization with a focus on expanding leadership, personal and professional development opportunities for women in the financial inclusion and microfinance sectors. She is currently conducting research for the Nashville Food Co-op and is hoping to develop an even deeper understanding of that sector.
Shreya completed her summer project with Endeavor. Over the course of her project, Shreya collected and synthesized internal and external data to further research the entrepreneurial ecosystem while looking at which indicators point to a more successful ecosystem and market. She was able to shadow and also see how entrepreneurs can have a very large impact in their subsequent industry.
Shreya is very grateful towards the Ingram family for the generosity and support they have shown her over the past 3 years in the program. In the future, she intends to take what she has learned into her career.
