Students should also allow for health insurance. Participation in the Vanderbilt-sponsored health insurance plan is mandatory unless the online insurance waiver is submitted by August 1. International students may not waive with alternative coverage. The 2020-2021 health insurance cost for domestic students is $2,355 and for international students is $3,655.
