Wan named Pew Scholar

Will Wan, assistant professor of biochemistry, has been named a 2022 Pew Scholar in the Biomedical Sciences. The Pew Scholars Program in the Biomedical Sciences provides funding to young investigators of outstanding promise in science relevant to the advancement of human health.

The funding will allow the Wan lab to use and develop cutting-edge methods like cryo-electron tomography to determine how Ebola virus infects host cells.

Will is one of three Vanderbilt scientists to be named a 2022 Pew Scholar and among 22 chosen nationwide.
