Duaa Faquih
Duaa Faquih is the Program Assistant at the Vanderbilt Policy Accelerator, where she supports the VPA’s operations and program coordination.
Duaa graduated from Vanderbilt University in 2025 with a B.A. in Political Science and Psychology, and has previously worked as a congressional intern in Representative Al Green’s Office, as well as the Department of Justice’s Office on Violence Against Women, supporting research on culturally specific services and the use of AI in policing. As a Vanderbilt student, she was a research team lead and outreach director at the Research on Conflict and Collective Action Lab, focusing on issues of bureaucratic repression globally and attitudes towards refugees. Currently, she is a volunteer academic editor and social media team lead at the Muslim Mental Health and Islamic Psychology Lab at Stanford University and continues to support non-profit work in her hometown of Houston, Texas, through the organization, Asians Against Domestic Abuse.
