Creative Arts
The Blair School of Music provides numerous opportunities for both majors and non-majors in musical art, musical performance, or musical composition. The Anne Potter Music Library is an excellent resource for creative projects in the musical arts with several music librarians available to assist.
For students interested in researching the visual arts, the Vanderbilt Museum of Art and its extensive searchable online catalog are great resources for students pursuing creative endeavors. Whether the subject of the research is painting, sculpture, photography or a different medium, students engaged in researching the visual arts have the opportunity to showcase their work at the Vanderbilt Museum of Art and the Sarratt Art Gallery as well as the Vanderbilt Undergraduate Creative Expression Showcase. The Vanderbilt ArtLab is another great resource for students interested in pursuing projects which straddle the creative arts and STEM fields.
