The CSRL Annex is designated prayer space, most often used by Muslim community members.

Benton Chapel

Benton Chapel, named for Dean of the Divinity School John K. Benton, was dedicated in 1959 as part of the new quadrangle housing the Divinity School.  Benton is the largest and main chapel for Vanderbilt University.  Although decorated in a Christian theme, no single denomination is prevalent, making the chapel available to be used by different denominations and traditions throughout the week.  Benton Chapel has become the ecumenical home for various ministries, classes, promotions, and special events in the lives of students, faculty, and staff at Vanderbilt.

Physical Location: 411 21st Ave S

All Faith Chapel

The All Faith Chapel is located below Benton Chapel.  A room of hand-crafted stucco and soft light, the All Faith Chapel was designed to be a welcoming and serene sacred space regardless of an individual’s faith.  A variety of religious and spiritual groups meet and pray in the All Faith Chapel during the week.

Physical Location: 411 21st Ave S (below Benton Chapel)

Designated Prayer Spaces

Several smaller spaces around campus are designated for quiet reflection and prayer during particular times of the day.
