For Jordan, the mind – something more familiar than the back of one’s hand – is fundamentally mysterious. Studying it has seriously impacted the way he experiences things, making even quotidian activities seem strange and new. Before starting computational memory research, he studied randomness perception, statistical learning, and a number of topics in social psychology.
