Brock Carlson

I am interested in visual awareness and binocular vision within the primate brain.

I grew up in Minnesota and graduated from St. Olaf College in 2018 with degrees in Chemistry and Music. I joined Dr. Alex Maier's lab in the summer of 2018 as a research assistant. I decided to stay in Dr. Maier's lab as a full-time graduate student starting fall of 2020. I have recorded from primary visual cortex and the lateral geniculate nucleus with linear arrays. I am interested in exploring visual awareness and binocular vision within my graduate career.
