Immersion Vanderbilt

Immersion Vanderbilt is comprised of two things: an immersive experience and a final culminating project. Students complete four milestones to satisfy their degree requirement. The final, culminating piece for Immersion Vanderbilt must be submitted in the student’s last semester on campus.

Milestone 1 – The Immersive Experience Declaration Form

Students submit an Immersive Experience Declaration Form before they begin an immersive experience that may be the basis of their Immersion Vanderbilt project.

Students may submit multiple immersive experiences throughout their time at Vanderbilt University.

Milestone 2 – Experience Self-Reflection Form

Students complete their Experience Self-Reflection Form as they finish their immersive experience.

Milestone 3 – Post-Experience Goals and Project Completion Plan

Students formalize their concept for the final, culminating piece of their Immersion Vanderbilt and list their Immersion Vanderbilt faculty adviser on this form.

Milestone 4 – Immersion Vanderbilt: Final Project Submission

Students complete this form before or during their last semester on campus and submit it using the Immersion Portal. Their Immersion Vanderbilt faculty adviser reviews their final project and marks their requirement as complete to finalize the fourth milestone and add the title of their Immersion Vanderbilt to the transcript.
