    Experiential Learning

    Experiential learning occurs both inside and outside of the classroom and provides students with an opportunity to apply the skills and knowledge gained from their studies.  
  • Fall Leaves Vanderbilt

    Immersion Vanderbilt

    Immersion Vanderbilt applies to all undergraduate students beginning with the Class of 2023. Under the mentorship if a Vanderbilt University faculty or staff member, students complete an immersive experience. To make it Immersion Vanderbilt, students complete a final culminating project under the guidance of an Immersion Vanderbilt faculty adviser. Undergraduate research is always mentored and advised by a faculty member.

    Faculty Resources

    Vanderbilt faculty dedicate time and expertise as immersive experience mentors and Immersion Vanderbilt faculty advisers on final culminating pieces. EL&IV works closely with all undergraduate and professional schools to develop resources to support faculty as they mentor and advise Immersion Vanderbilt projects.

Advisers can provide guidance about timelines, qualifying experiences, and how to build an Immersion Vanderbilt around a student’s individual needs.
