OCTOBER 17, 2017 (TUESDAY)

LANL Tour Agenda
LANL Site Field Trip (Optional) Hosts: David Rhodes, Hai Shen, Steven Horak, and George Rael (DOE EM-LA) and Pete Maggiore (DOE NA-LA).
>8:00 am SNL vans depart from the front of the SNL CGSC Building (located at 10600 Research Rd., SE, Albuquerque, NM 87123) for the LANL site.
10:30 am All trip participants to meet at the DOE Environmental Management Los Alamos (EM-LA) Field Office (located at 1900 Diamond Drive, Los Alamos, NM 87544).

11:00 am Tour bus departs EM-LA Field Office for Otowi Cafeteria
11:10 am – Noon Lunch at Otwoi Cafeteria Noon Tour bus departs Otowi Cafeteria for Pajarito Road near Area G
12:15 – 1:00 pm Drive around Area-G from Pajarito Road, see domes from a distance, discuss cliff retreat, and discuss PA/CA needs. May stop along road turnout for presentation.
1:00 pm Tour bus departs for Mortandad Canyon
1:15 – 2:15 pm Chromium Project overview at the overlook
2:15 pm Tour bus departs for TA-21 2:30-3:15 pm Technical Area 21 Material Disposal Area (MDA)-T for a project discussion on Nuclear Environmental Site and the buried shaft wastes.
3:15 – 3:30 pm Tour bus returns to EM-LA Field Office
3:30 – 5:30 pm Field Trip ends. SNL vans return to SNL CGSC Building in Albuquerque.
