21st Ave bridge work will affect accessibility across campus

The pedestrian bridge and walkway at 21st Avenue South and Edgehill Avenue will undergo routine maintenance this summer. The scope of work includes topping slab replacement and painting of the entire walkway and bridge.

The bridge and walkway will be closed starting June 18 and will re-open by Aug. 16.

Accessible routes will be marked for pedestrians through VUMC and MRBIII. Signs will be posted to direct pedestrians to the appropriate routes.
