Facilities Alert Notifications (FAN) is a system to communicate to users’ cell phones (voice or text), landline, and/or Vanderbilt email account in the event of a planned or unplanned utility outage that affects your building or any other buildings you select when you sign up.

Examples of planned outages include but are not limited to:

  • Planned Elevator Maintenance
  • HVAC Outage
  • Water Outage
  • Electrical Outage

Unexpected events may also occur such as a water or electrical outage. The FAN system is designed to alert you as soon as possible and provide further information about the outage.

ROAD & SIDEWALK CLOSURES

  • Vanderbilt Place from 25th Avenue South to 24th Avenue South Remains closed. 

REMINDERS

  • Construction at Stevenson Center 6 is underway.  
  • As part of the Central Neighborhood construction project, Vanderbilt Place remains closed between lot 21 and 24th Avenue South. 24th Avenue South is now open to two-way traffic.

  • Construction at the new Martha Rivers Ingram Residential College, located on the Peabody campus, started construction on Monday, Dec. 15Due to this work, lot 90 is permanently closed.  Those in the area may experience louder than normal construction noise and vibrations.
