Interested in joining the ISR program?
Students who wish to participate in the ISR programs at Stratford, Overton, or Hillsboro should complete the application here. Applications are accepted for rising 9th and 10th grade students. For admission in the 2023-2024 school year, please submit an application by June 4th, 2023. Students who have applied to the School for Science and Math (SSMV) do not need to complete a separate ISR application.

ISR AT HILLSBORO HIGH SCHOOL
For students attending Hillsboro High School, the ISR program counts as pathway courses for students in the Academy of Global Health and Science, but can also be taken as electives by students in other Hillsboro Academies. Students have successfully participated in both ISR and the International Baccalaureate Diploma Program at Hillsboro.

ISR AT STRATFORD STEM MAGNET Upper Campus
For students attending Stratford STEM Magnet High School, ISR satisfies the pathway requirement through the Academy of Science and Engineering.

ISR AT JOHN OVERTON HIGH SCHOOL
The ISR program is a pathway in the Academy of Interdisciplinary Research, but courses can also be taken as general elective courses. Any student in 9th or 10th grade is allowed to enter the program and continue through their senior year. Students may participate in the ISR program and other programs such as Cambridge, AVID, and pathway courses within their academy.
