The Department of Biostatistics and members of the Biostatistics Graduate Program are excited to host our 5th annual summer internship program. The goal is to expose selected undergraduates to biomedical and/or public health research with quantitative methods, and ultimately to increase students' interest in pursuing graduate degrees in biostatistics or data science.
Interns will be directly mentored by experienced researchers as they gain valuable experience in the biostatistics field. They will work on research projects, complete weekly assignments, and deliver formal oral presentations at the end of the program. There will also be opportunities for discussion and training on topics such as writing personal statements and resumes.
Each intern is paid a stipend of up to $4,000. Housing is not included.
Who is eligible?
