Why did you choose to attend Vanderbilt?
I grew up in Nashville so I have always followed Vanderbilt and I believed the school and the conference gave me the best chance for long term success.
What are your career goals?
Ideally I would play professional golf for a living.
What does it take to be academically successful at Vanderbilt?
To be academically successful at Vanderbilt you have to have a great work ethic and strong communication skills. When you miss class for tournaments, it is critical that you are communicating with your professors to make sure you are staying on top of everything you need to do.
How do you manage your demanding schedule?
Write everything down and set aside time for fun so you are not focused on work 24/7.
What is your ritual before taking a test?
I don’t really have a ritual but I will usually listen to music while walking to class on test days.
Who do you consider to be an unsung hero in your academic success at Vanderbilt? And Why?
Nate Bell. He keeps me on top of things and encourages me to communicate with my professors whenever something is in question.
