Why did you choose to attend Vanderbilt?
I chose to attend Vanderbilt because of th high standard of academics and tennis here.  It was a perfect fit fo me.

What are your career goals?
Currently I am not sure.  I will continue to play tennis after I graduate.  However, med school is also a possibility or grad school.  After I figure out which option, I will see where that leads me!

What does it take to be academically successful at Vanderbilt?
A good work ethic!! Also, having a true desire to learn and be academically successful will make the hours of studying much easier!

How do you manage your demanding schedule?
My strict schedule is helpful because I do not have time to mess around and waste time. It forces me to be more efficient with everything I do.

What is your ritual before taking a test?
I don’t have any superstitions or specific rituals other than making sure I don’t cram, and allow enough time to learn the material. Going into an exam feeling prepared trumps the benefit of any superstition.

What is your favorite quote?
“To give anything less than your best, is to sacrifice the gift.” – Steve Prefontaine
