Why did you choose to attend Vanderbilt?
I chose Vanderbilt because of the great academics, a solid tennis program, it is based in a city and it is a good size.

What are your career goals?
I would like to find passion in what I do. I would like to work designing structures or roads.

What does it take to be academically successful at Vanderbilt?
Being academically successful at Vanderbilt takes work. There is no secret – just stay on task.

How do you manage your demanding schedule?
I use my free time to get ahead. I make sure to use the hours between classes to do homework or any assignment I need to do.

What is your ritual before taking a test?
I study for tests a few days before I have to take them. I make sure I have completed all the readings and assignments for the class so I can go over homework, new problems or anything I had trouble with before. The day of the test I eat breakfast after a good night sleep and go.

What is your favorite quote?
“You are too blessed to be stressed.”
