Arts and Humanities Micro-Grant Program

The   Arts & Humanities Rapid Response Micro-Grant Fund  is designed to enhance and advance the arts and humanities at Vanderbilt. Specifically, it provides faculty the ability to seize opportunities and carry out new collaborations, ventures, projects or outreach. This funding mechanism supports either time-sensitive projects or projects that are not conducive to current funding models.

PLEASE NOTE: Due to the economic impact of the COVID-19 pandemic and the need to make significant changes to the university’s budget, we are pausing this program for the remainder of the fiscal year. We will announce via myVU when the program is relaunched. If you have any questions, please reach out to Schyler Turrin ( or Annie Hornung (
