Overview of Undergraduate Semester
Vanderbilt University–New York City Undergraduate Semester Program Eligibility
To be eligible for a fall or spring semester at Vanderbilt University–New York City, you must:
- Be a matriculated Vanderbilt undergraduate student
- Be a first-semester or second-semester junior or senior at the time of enrollment in NYC
- For the Spring 2027 Arts & Science and Engineering Management Programs Only: Students who will be second-semester sophomores at the time of enrollment in NYC also qualify.
- Have a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.7
- Be in good academic, disciplinary and student financial account standing
- Note: Any probationary status or account hold, if applicable, must end before the start date of the program.

Application Timeline for Fall 2026 NYC Undergraduate Semester Program
- August 3, 2026: Applications open
- September 3, 2026: Application deadline
- November 3, 2026: Program commitment deadline (Internship placements must also be secured by this date.)
Note: Students who are selected to participate in the Vanderbilt University–New York City Undergraduate Semester Program will receive additional timelines for the internship process, course registration, and the housing application.

A Pre-Departure Orientation session will be held for selected students. Additional information about this session will be emailed to selected students.
