Colby McHugh

Colby McHugh serves as the Program Coordinator for Immersion Vanderbilt Funding. In this role, he supports the full lifecycle of the Immersion Funding process by preparing application forms, soliciting faculty reviewers, and reporting application numbers.

Colby received his undergraduate degree in Film Studies from Georgia State University. Prior to joining Immersion Vanderbilt, Colby gained valuable experience at other colleges such as Georgia Institute of Technology and the Savannah College of Art and Design in admissions, marketing, and event coordination roles. Colby has a passion for working with students of all types and helping them achieve their goals.

Outside of work, Colby is an avid movie watcher, seeking out films of all types, as well as writing and publishing his own work in the form of books, zines, comics, and more! He is constantly seeking out the next great story.
