Anna McDaniel

Student Adviser

Anna serves as a Student Adviser for Immersion Vanderbilt, where she supports students in designing and completing immersive learning experiences and culminating projects.

Previously, Anna worked as a Program Coordinator for the Mathematics and Earth & Environmental Sciences departments in Vanderbilt’s College of Arts & Science. Prior to that, she served as an Admissions and Program Coordinator at the English Language Institute at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville.

Originally from Germany, Anna earned her B.A. from Bielefeld University before moving to the United States in 2022. She completed her M.A. in German Studies at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, where she taught undergraduate German courses and worked with young learners at a German Saturday School.

Outside of work, Anna enjoys reading, knitting, yoga, and spending time outdoors with her husband and their dog Bodie.
