This program provides undergraduate students the opportunity for full immersion in Argentine culture and the Spanish language in Buenos Aires, the sophisticated and cosmopolitan “Paris of South America.” Students develop their language skills by living in a homestay and taking classes in Spanish at one or more universities in Buenos Aires. 

This program requires 4 semesters of college-level Spanish or the equivalent. Students wishing to enroll in CIEE Buenos Aires: Liberal Arts must have completed at least one SPAN class at the 3000-level. Applicants must have SPAN 3303 on their transcript in order to receive credit toward the Literature distribution of their Spanish major/minor.
