Students are directly enrolled in classes at Georgia Institute of Technology's European Campus, Georgia Tech-Europe (GT-Europe), located in Metz, France, a historical city with Roman influenced architecture and a rich cultural heritage. The Lorraine Region borders Belgium and Germany. The GTE building is located at the Metz Technopôle and is close to other institutions of higher learning as well as industrial and research facilities.

This unique program offers undergraduate students in computer science, electrical and computer engineering, and mechanical engineering the possibility to combine their major area of study with a cultural experience of a lifetime. All courses are taught by academic faculty from the Georgia Institute of Technology assigned to the Metz campus.

Three student housing facilities are easily accessible to GTE students. These are Lafayette, Aloes, and Crous. Rooms will be pre-booked by GTE in the two residences, and are assigned on a first come, first served basis. Students are responsible for covering the costs of meals.

Application Process
Find information about applying to GTE as a non-GT "transient student." Please note, there are non-refundable fees involved in this application process. Talk with your GEO advisor to learn more!
