Prior to filming on Vanderbilt University’s campus, the Film Location Application must be completed and approved. Please complete the application as thoroughly as possible to avoid any delays in review. Note that application needs a minimum of 30 calendar days for review.
Vanderbilt University’s Brand Marketing Office may choose to authorize the use of Vanderbilt's logos and other branding on cakes for graduations, weddings and other events.
Each approval is good for one cake for one event.
A bakery may not request more than two (2) one-time approvals in a calendar year.
A crafter is defined as an individual producing domestic handcrafted items in the home with collegiate marks, and selling/distributing to individual consumers via events or direct sales. To obtain a Crafters License for Vanderbilt University, CLICK HERE. By filling out this form, you are not automatically granted a crafters license. The University must approve the application.
Obtaining a federal trademark registration is a lengthy, and potentially costly, process. On average, expect it to take at least 6 months and cost $4,000 - $8,000 per class, per mark.
