Join the Vandy in Exploration community for an exclusive career trek to Opryland, hosted with Ryman Hospitality Properties. This immersive, half-day experience gives students a behind-the-scenes look at one of Nashville’s most iconic hospitality destinations.

Students will enjoy lunch at the famous Cascades restaurant, hear from an employer panel, connect with Vanderbilt alumni, and take a guided tour of the Opryland property. It’s a fun, hands-on way to explore career paths, build real connections, and see how Opryland comes to life.

    Deadline To Apply: February 9, 2026 – March 2, 2026, 11:59 p.m. CST
    Final Selection Notifications  Friday, March 6, 2026 

    Pre-Trek Workshop Option 1: Tuesday, March 17th, 2026 (12:15 pm – 12:45 pm CST) Virtual 

    Pre-Trek Workshop Option 2: Wednesday, March 18th, 2026 (4:00 pm – 4:30 pm CST) Virtual

    *Must only attend one out of the two workshop sessions offered. If you have conflicts with both offerings, please reachout.

    Trek: Thursday, March 26th, 2026, 11:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. CST

  • Travel & Accommodations

    We will be utilizing reserved transportation, so please confirm you can meet no later than 10:30am  on Thursday, March 26th for this half-day trek. All students traveling on the funded itinerary must adhere to the group travel schedule. Additionally, participants will be provided with light refreshments in the morning as well as lunch during the trek!
