Vanderbilt University Mail Services provides the Vanderbilt community with an efficient and economical mail system that ensures quick and accurate delivery for both incoming and outgoing mail and packages. We realize that we are a vital link between the campus and the rest of the world. Whether we are delivering a care package of cookies from parents to a new student away from home for the first time, or processing the mailing of brochures that will send a department's message across the country, we are committed to providing the highest level of care and service. HOLIDAY HOURS
The Station B and Peabody mail centers will be open or closed for the following holidays:
- Martin Luther King Day- OPEN
- President's Day- OPEN
- Memorial Day- CLOSED
- Juneteenth - CLOSED -
- Independence Day- CLOSED
- Labor Day - OPEN
- Columbus Day- OPEN
- Thanksgiving Day- CLOSED
- Day after Thanksgiving- CLOSED
- Christmas/Winter Break- CLOSED Wednesday Dec 24th, Thursday, Dec 25th, Friday Dec 26th, Saturday December 27th, Sunday Dec 28th, Monday Dec 29th.
- Station B Post Office will be open Tuesday, December 30th, and Wednesday, December 31st, 2024. the package window, metering services and mail routes will be open, but the USPS window will be closed until Friday 1-2-26. You can still drop stamped mail off at Station B in the drop box on December 30th & 31st.
- Peabody Commons Post Office - Closed 12-24-25 to 1-1-26, reopening Friday January 2nd, 2026.
- New Year's- CLOSED Thursday, January 1st, 2026, Will reopen on Friday January 2nd, 2026
- Station B Summer Hours: We will observe Flex Friday's starting May 16th, 2025 until July 25th, 2025
- Monday 7:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Tuesday 7:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Wednesday 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Thursday 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. and Friday 7:00 a.m. to Noon. Closed Saturdays until August 16th, 2025.
- Peabody Summer Hours: April 28th, 2025 to August 11th, 2025 we will be open 7:30 a.m. to Noon.
