Ashley McElhiney played in the entire Boston University game and now totals 24 40-minute games in her career. She is one game shy of tying Wendy Scholtens (1988-91) for second place with 25 career 40-minute games. Donna Atkinson (1983-86) is the career leader with 34.

JENNI ON THE OFFENSIVE
Junior forward Jenni Benningfield led the Commodores in the first two games of the seasons in points and rebounds. She recorded her fifth double-double of her career at Boston totaling 16 points and 13 rebounds. She totaled four double-doubles her freshman season and none last season. She led all scorers at Syracuse with 19 points and numbered eight rebounds.

She also picked up where she left off last season in drawing offensive fouls. She took three offensive charges vs. Boston, one at Syracuse and one vs. Youngstown State.
