OXFORD, Miss. (AP) -- Jenni Benningfield
scored 25 points to lead No. 18 Vanderbilt to a 67-60
win over Mississippi on Thursday night.
Abi Ramsey had 16 points and Chantelle Anderson added
13 points and five blocks for Vanderbilt (16-7, 6-4
Southeastern Conference), which has won three straight
games and six of its last eight.
The Commodores also extended their winning streak against
the Lady Rebels to 10, dating to 1996.
Carletta Brown scored 19 points, Genice Terry 13 and
Ashley Johnson 11 for Ole Miss (12-11, 1-9), which has
lost nine of its last 10.
Both teams shot poorly from the field, with Vanderbilt
making 18 of its 46 attempts, and Ole Miss was 20-for-73.
But Vanderbilt made 26 of 36 free throws.
