| PITTSBURGH (AP) _ Jenni Benningfield
had 21 points and 10 rebounds, and Chantelle Anderson
added 20 points of 10-of-11 shooting as No. 14 Vanderbilt
beat Duquesne 78-56 Monday night.
Vanderbilt (10-3) also got 13 points and 10 assists
from Ashley McElhiney.
Duquesne (7-5) was led by Beth Friday with 14 points
and 15 rebounds. Aiga Bautre added 11 points.
Duquesne could not match Vanderbilt's ball movement.
The Commodores racked up 28 assists to just 14 for the
Dukes while outshooting them 52 percent to 38 percent.
After opening the season with seven wins in eight games,
Vanderbilt has struggled to be consistent. Monday's
win gives the Commodores consecutive victories for the
first time in more than two weeks and snapped a two-game
road losing streak.
Vanderbilt led 38-25 at the half.
