Postgame Quotes
Vanderbilt Head Coach Jim Foster:
"After shooting so well the other night (school record at WKU), we struggled offensively tonight. We're an inside/outside team and in the first half we were an outside/inside team."

"We have a lot of people who can score. Chantelle (Anderson) has to step up at the beginning of the game. She should always be in double figures in shots taken. We have to get the ball in there - we can't be content to shoot three's. We shot well the other night (Western Kentucky - 12-19 from 3-point range) because our inside game was working."

"We play a lot of different defenses. We had a defense practice the other day - we have to be better defensively. We have to have a defensive mentality.

Junior center Chantelle Anderson:
"Coach Foster knows what he is doing and our defensive practice paid off. We still have to work on our intensity, but it's a step in the right direction.

Sophomore forward Jenni Benningfield:
"We try to enter each game with respect for our opponent. We were not focused in the first 10 minutes of the game. We have to focus and play our game and not our opponent's game. We have to focus on our shots - we have to be the attacker, not the one being attacked."
