Mens Cross Country Places 22nd at Auburn Invitational

NASHVILLE, Tenn. The Vanderbilt mens cross country
team came in 22nd Saturday morning at the 8K Auburn Invitational.
The Commodores combined for a total of 594 team points.
Capturing
the team title was Southern Methodist University, who totaled
59 points. Claiming individual honors was Dalibor Balgac from
SMU with a time of 23:47. Host Auburn finished fourth with
183 points.
Pacing
the way for the Commodores was junior John Cote. Cote finished
92nd with a time of 26:10. Other Vanderbilt scorers included
Tyler Harlan (112, 26:20), Ryan Williams (130, 26:49), Taylor
Hindle (183, 27:52) and Jake LaManna (195, 28:20). Also finishing
the race for Vanderbilt was David Brogan (208, 29:06), Ariel
Prater (211, 29:08) and Mitchell Chessman (244, 31:28).
The
Commodores will be off for two weeks before heading to Gainesville,
Fla. for the SEC Championships. The University of Florida
will host the Monday, November 2nd event.
