Johnson Interview Tonight

Coach Bobby Johnson is discuss the upcoming Vanderbilt football
season tonight on popular Nashville sports talk radio station
WTN 99.7.
Johnson, entering his first year
at the Commodore helm after eight successful season at Furman,
will speak at 6:00 p.m. with WTN Sportnight host Blake Fulton.
The coach is likely to answer questions ranging from the upcoming
season and team personnel to the construction status of practice
field improvements. Commodore fans also can call the station
and ask questions.
Johnson and his nine-person coaching
staff - all new to Vanderbilt - will welcome 21 incoming freshmen
on August 5, with the first freshmen practice scheduled on
August 7. All returning Commodores are expected to report
August 9.
The radio interview comes a week
before Johnson and two Commodore seniors, receiver Dan Stricker
and cornerback Rushen Jones, are scheduled to appear before
hundreds of reporters at the annual Southeastern Conference
Media Days in Birmingham.
