VINSE faculty De-en Jiang, H. Eugene McBrayer Professor of Chemical Engineering and professor of chemistry, and Shihong Lin, professor of civil and environmental engineering, have been recognized by Clarivate as 2025 Highly Cited Researchers. Clarivate recognizes global scientists whose work ranks in the top 1% of citations in their fields.
This marks Dr. Jiang’s third and Dr. Lin’s second time receiving this honor. Dr. Jiang research focuses on applying state-of-the-art computational methods to important chemical systems and energy-relevant problems. Dr. Lin research advances aqueous separation processes to address critical challenges of sustainability at the water-energy-food nexus. They are part of the fourteen researchers named in this year’s report affiliated with Vanderbilt University or Vanderbilt University Medical Center.
