Introducing the Newest Members of the VINSE Tech Crew: Building Future Innovators in Nanotechnology

We are excited to introduce three new members of the VINSE Tech Crew, who will gain valuable experience in operating complex tools and performing nanofabrication and characterization processes that are essential to the VINSE research mission.

Rylan T. Hunt is a sophomore majoring in Biomedical Engineering with minors in Digital Fabrication and Engineering Management. Rylan is eager to refine his skills in nanofabrication within the cleanroom and contribute to the innovative work at VINSE. He is also an active leader on campus, serving as the Maker Recruitment Co-Chair for Tikkun Olam Makers and a member of the Theta Tau professional engineering fraternity.

Chloe C. McCulloch, a freshman pursuing a double major in Medicine, Health, and Society and Biology. Chloe’s passion for medicine and research, along with her active involvement in health-focused organizations like Vanderbilt Student Volunteers for Science, will help her thrive in the cleanroom environment.

Sahpar N. Ozer is a freshman double majoring in Mechanical Engineering and Economics with Honors, and minoring in Physics. Sahpar joins the Tech Crew with a strong interest in nanotechnology and is excited to learn about its real-world applications in the VINSE cleanroom. She is also an active participant in the Vanderbilt Motorsports Team and Vanderbilt Fashion Week.

These students will play a key role in assisting with research projects, supporting lab users, and ensuring smooth operations in the cleanroom. We look forward to seeing their growth and contributions as part of the VINSE community!
