My current research focuses on enhancing medical ultrasound image quality using artificial intelligence. Using this technology to improve image quality in novel ways bridges the fields of medical imaging, biomedical engineering, and computer science, fostering collaboration between researchers in all three fields. Designing new methods and leveraging the knowledge of AI researchers will help lead to improved diagnostic capabilities of ultrasound, further leading to improved patient outcomes and reduced burden on medical staff.
