Professional Status:
- Eligible candidates must be faculty members or research scientists affiliated with an official academic or research institution. This includes those with positions such as professors, assistant professors, associate professors, or equivalent research roles.
Connection to Vanderbilt:
- Candidates do not need to be directly affiliated with Vanderbilt University but must have a substantive connection to the university or the mid-Tennessee AI alliance. Suitable connections include:
- Current faculty members or research scientists at Vanderbilt
- Individuals affiliated with institutions within the mid-TN AI alliance
- Visiting scholars at Vanderbilt
- Professionals actively collaborating with Vanderbilt or serving as research advisors to Vanderbilt students
- Candidates do not need to be directly affiliated with Vanderbilt University but must have a substantive connection to the university or the mid-Tennessee AI alliance. Suitable connections include:
Research Requirements:
- Applicants must be engaged in research that aligns with the goals of immersive AI translation. While the candidate’s historical research may be focused within a single domain, they must demonstrate a commitment to pursuing interdisciplinary work that integrates AI with real-world applications.
- The research should not be limited solely to AI methodologies or basic/applied sciences without AI integration.
