Reed A. Omary, MD, MS, is the Carol D. and Henry P. Pendergrass Professor of Radiology at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, USA. He was Vanderbilt’s Chair of Radiology from 2012 – 2023; nationally, he served as President of the Association of Academic Radiology and President-elect of the Society of Chairs of Academic Radiology Departments.
