As a Research Assistant Professor of Neurology, my work is closely aligned with the mission and goals of VALIANT, particularly in advancing AI through interdisciplinary collaboration and innovation. My research focuses on developing and implementing novel imaging-based biomarkers for neurodegenerative diseases, with a special emphasis on Parkinson’s disease and related disorders. By leveraging high-resolution, quantitative MRI methods, I aim to identify and assess pathological changes in the brain before clinical symptoms manifest. My recent efforts in the multi-site implementation of MRI protocols further underscore the collaborative and innovative spirit that VALIANT champions, and I am enthusiastic about contributing to its interdisciplinary initiatives to push the boundaries of AI in medical imaging.
