Some of my current research focuses on investigating and leveraging neural radiance fields for the reconstruction of organ surfaces via photogrammetry. This work is part of a much larger effort to perform extensive 3D tissue mapping of human organs, and necessitates close collaboration with cellular biologists, physicians, and engineers. Additionally, I am also working on informatics approaches to curate large medical imaging datasets through deep learning, which also requires a collaborative effort with neuroscientists, physicians, and engineers. All aspects of my research underscore the importance of interdisciplinary partnerships in application and advancement of scientific discovery through AI.
