In my research, I concentrate on the application of AI for the detection of real diseases in the upper gastrointestinal (GI) tract using endoscopic imaging. My objective is to develop algorithms that can accurately identify and classify conditions such as eosinophilic esophagitis. Additionally, I am expanding my research to include spatial transcriptomics, where I aim to merge spatial gene expression data with computer vision techniques. My goal is to create super-resolution analysis pipelines that can provide clearer insights into tissue biology. This integration of AI with spatial transcriptomics will enhance our understanding of cellular functions and disease mechanisms, potentially leading to breakthroughs in diagnostics and treatment.
