My current work includes projects using the 47.5mT MRI scanner at VUIIS. Undersampling is a widely used technique to translate much of our work to clinical protocols. This is in terms of SNR and scan time for patients. I am using AI to denoise our images and to reconstruct images from the undersampled data (undersampled data is prone to artefacts). My background is hardware (specifically RF engineering) so I am combining AI methods with advanced hardware to promote low field MRI use in more clinical workflows and in aging studies. A focus of mine is imaging around metallic implants. I believe my project will contribute towards VALIANT’s goals because it is inherently an interdisciplinary project that requires a wide range of expertise (including future interventional methods). Please let me know if you need more information; I will gladly provide it. Thanks, Charlotte
