VALIANT Undergrads/Interns
We’re excited to announce the launch of SLICE – our Summer Lunches for Innovation, Conversation, and Exchange! This is a fun, informal series that will bring together undergraduate researchers and interns from across VALIANT to mingle, share their work, and grow together in AI research.
From June 4th to August 6th 2025, SLICE lunches will be held every Wednesday at noon in FGH 308 (or outside if weather is nice). Pizza will be provided, so all you need to bring is your appetite and your innovative spirit.
Over the course of 10 weekly lunches, you’ll have the chance to:
– Get to know fellow undergrad researchers and interns in VALIANT
– Learn about the cutting edge AI research projects everyone is working on
– Find areas where your research interests overlap
– Collectively problem solve and/or brainstorm ideas for collaborative projects
It’s the perfect way to expand your network, gain new perspectives, and maybe even kick-start your next big research endeavor!
The program is open to any undergraduate or intern doing research in a VALIANT-affiliated lab (including outside of Vanderbilt). If you’re interested in participating, please fill out this quick survey so we can reserve your spot: VALIANT SLICE Undergraduate/Intern Registration.
