Academic Emergency Services (AES)

To ensure you have immediate access to assistance if you have an emergency while traveling or anywhere over 100 miles from your home or outside your home country, Academic Emergency Services (AES), available to all Vanderbilt students, offers a wide range of services and benefits to get the help or information you need in a crisis. Support may include finding a doctor, replacing a lost passport or luggage, or getting a prescription filled, to emergency medical evacuation and travel arrangement for you and/or a family member during a crisis. AES is not travel or medical insurance but a service provider for emergency medical assistance services. Therefore, AES does not in itself provide sufficient healthcare coverage while traveling abroad. For assistance utilizing AES benefits, contact Student Care Coordination at SCC@vanderbilt.edu.
