Bed and Mattress

- Regular twin sheets will fit the bed, twin XL sheets will fit if you use a mattress topper.
- Housing has a limited number of 82” mattresses for residents who are 6’5” and taller. These are issued in the order requested until the supply is depleted. Please email housing@vanderbilt.edu to request.
- Lofted with 60″ maximum height from floor to bottom of bed surface; height is user adjustable.
- Bed rails and ladders are available by request upon arrival on campus if they are not already installed.
- To lower the height of the mattress, mallets are available by request. See the RA or Head RA (HRA) in your building. Move Crew members will NOT be able to assist with the beds.

University furniture may not be removed from the room. We strongly advise students to move in and survey their rooms before deciding whether to bring additional furniture. Space is limited and university-provided furniture may not be removed in order to make room for students’ furniture.
