Adult Post-COVID Clinic

The Vanderbilt Adult Post-COVID Clinic has a team of doctors and other providers who understand Long COVID and are ready to work with you to create a customized treatment plan to get you back to health. With no single location, the clinic is a coordinated service across general medicine and medical specialty clinics, including:

  • Internal medicine
  • Pulmonology

  • Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation
  • Neurology
  • Ear, Nose and Throat (Otolaryngology)
  • Behavior Health
  • Cognitive and Speech Therapy

Critical Illness, Brain Dysfunction and Survivorship (CIBS) Center

The CIBS offers a virtual, psychoeducational peer support program based on acceptance and commitment therapy for individuals living with Long-COVID. This innovative approach to mental health treatment offers support and coping strategies aimed at helping patients learn to co-exist with the difficulties they’re experiencing. The support group, facilitated by Jenna MacDonald, LMSW, meets weekly and is offered free of charge. For additional information, please contact jennifer.macdonald@vumc.org.

 

Smell and Taste Center

The Smell and Taste Center at Vanderbilt University Medical Center is a leading destination for people of all ages with smell and taste disorders.  Dr. Timothy Trone sees Post-COVID patients every Friday afternoon at the Vanderbilt Bill Wilkerson Center. Pi Beta Phi Rehabilitation Institute

The Pi Beta Phi Rehabilitation Institute at Vanderbilt Bill Wilkerson Center serves adults and children who have been diagnosed with central nervous system disorders or are experiencing symptoms of cognitive dysfunction such as memory loss, difficulty concentrating and trouble making decisions, finishing a task or following instructions. Their team of occupational and physical therapists and speech-language pathologists are trained and certified in the latest, most effective rehabilitation techniques, and will collaborate with each other, as well as with experts in other medical disciplines, to provide you with individual care that addresses your unique needs.

Clinical social workers are also available to help identify and address your needs, including coordinating appointments, locating community resources and providing counseling. This person can also assist with financial concerns, Social Security and disability.

 

Osher Center for Integrative Health

The Osher Center for Integrative Health focuses on your whole health: body, mind and spirit. Dayani Center for Health and Wellness

The Vanderbilt Dayani Center is a rehabilitation facility designed for adults with medical conditions. Their team of doctors, nurses, physical therapists, exercise physiologists, certified lymphedema therapists and a health psychologist will design and provide the most effective care for you, whether that’s an exercise plan, aquatic therapy, manual lymphatic drainage or other treatment.
