Immersive Career Trek

Students who complete all career workshops are eligible for a fully funded two-day trek to a major city like Atlanta, Boston, or Chicago, where you’ll gain valuable exposure to organizations seeking Vanderbilt talent—building meaningful connections while envisioning your future with greater clarity and ambition.

Career Workshop Series

Our four-part career workshop series, developed in partnership with the Vanderbilt Career Center, equips you with essential skills to navigate your professional journey with confidence. You’ll learn to articulate your personal brand and craft a compelling elevator pitch, build meaningful connections through networking and etiquette, and develop polished resumes, cover letters, and interviewing skills—preparing you to pursue internships and future opportunities with clarity and confidence.

Corporate Engagement

Company tours offer a behind-the-scenes look at how ideas turn into impact. Visiting organizations aligned with your interests—from innovative startups to established industry leaders—you’ll meet professionals, explore real work environments, and learn how different career paths take shape. These experiences go beyond observation, giving you the chance to ask questions, make connections, and start envisioning where your own interests could lead.

Networking

You’ll learn how to build genuine relationships in settings designed to feel approachable and authentic—whether over shared meals, casual conversations, or structured events. You’ll practice introducing yourself, asking thoughtful questions, and following up with intention, gaining confidence as you expand your circle and discover how meaningful connections can open doors.

Sightseeing

You’ll have ample opportunities to explore local landmarks and vibrant hotspots, and begin to develop a deeper sense of place—discovering how its culture, history, and people shape everyday life, and perhaps even picturing yourself living there someday.

For students who complete all workshops but are unable to travel, a local capstone experience will be provided.
