Dining Digest: February 2026 Campus Dining Events

Each month, Campus Dining partners with student organizations to enhance the dining experience, foster a sense of home on campus, and celebrate culture through food and community. Below is a look at our February 2026 events and key dates–some big, some small, and some still taking shape. Be sure to follow the Campus Dining Instagram for timely updates. We hope to see you at an event this month! 

Now-until sell out: Sweet Treats pre-order  

Time: Ends when supplies run out before 2/12  

Location: GET app  

In short: Sweet Treats from Campus Dining are back! Fresh-baked Valentine’s treats, customized with your message, available exclusively on the GET app. They’re perfect for your friends, that special someone, or just yourself! Pre-order is open while supplies last.  

Thursday, February 12: Sweet Treats event

Time: Event is 10 a.m.–3 p.m., pre-order pickup ends at 9 p.m. 

Location: Carmichael  

In short: The annual Campus Dining Sweet Treats event with opportunities to personalize your own Sweet Treats alongside Chef Jennifer. The event is 10 a.m.–3 p.m.; pre-order pickup ends at 9 p.m. for those who can’t make it to the special daytime event.  

Monday, Feb. 16–Friday, Feb. 20: Honoring Black History Month with BSA

Time: All week 

Locations: Carmichael, Rand

In short: In collaboration with the Black Student Association, Café Carmichael and Rand Dining Hall will be serving themed desserts and raising awareness of BSA’s Black Affair event on Sunday, Feb. 22.  

Tuesday, Feb.17: Lunar New Year  with AASA

Time: Starts at 4 p.m.  

Location: Rothschild 

In short: Join us at Rothschild Dining Hall for a special Lunar New Year celebration, hosted in collaboration with the Asian American Students Association. The event will feature a curated menu including sweet and sour pork ribs, deep-fried sesame balls, and produce sourced from local farms: Sweeter Days Farm, Bourbon Barrel Foods, and Bloomsbury Farms. In preparation for the event, Rothschild Dining Hall will close at 2 p.m. to allow our team time to prepare this festive meal. Come celebrate the season of renewal, tradition, and good fortune with us through food and community. 

Tuesday, Feb. 17: Ramadan begins with MSA

Time: All day 

Location: EBI, Rand, Kissam, Rothschild

In short: In collaboration with the Muslim Student Association, Campus Dining will be serving traditional meals throughout Ramadan. Menu items include Moroccan beef, halal, and seasonal menu changes for Vandy Provisions, as well as halal entrees at all Munchie Markets. Rand will open a breakfast station at 4:30 a.m. daily beginning Feb. 17 for Suhoor; this offering will continue based on demand. Dinners planned in partnership with MSA will be offered at EBI (Sunday–Thursday), Rand (Friday–Saturday), and Kissam (Spring Break). MSA will also be hosting catered iftar meals or traveling off campus throughout Ramadan.  

Wednesday, Feb. 18: Ash Wednesday  

Time: All day 

Location: All dining facilities  

In short: All Campus Dining locations will implement fish Fridays throughout Lent. 

Saturday, Feb. 21: Orange ban  

Time: All day 

Location: Campus Dining locations across campus 

In short: In honor of the Vanderbilt vs. UT men’s basketball game, Campus Dining will be enforcing an orange ban for the day. Go Dores!   

Monday, Feb. 23–Friday, Feb. 27:  Anchorthon × Campus Dining Week

Time: Lunch/dinner 

Locations: Rand, Commons, Carmichael  

In short: Join us all week long for Anchorthon x Campus Dining Week! Enjoy the featured Miracle Kids’ favorite foods, including cheese pizza, cinnamon twists, fried rice, and dessert at Carmichael, all while raising awareness in support of Monroe Carell Jr. Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt.

Saturday, Feb. 28: Suhoor dinner event with MSA

Time: Dinner 

Location: Rothschild

In short: Rothschild Dining Hall, in collaboration with the Muslim Students Association, will host a special Suhoor dinner for students observing Ramadan. This late-night meal offers a chance to gather, refuel, and prepare for the day of fasting ahead. All are welcome to attend and learn more about this meaningful tradition.
